elements as documented training programmes with internationally
recognized milestones, annual competency checking of all
ATCO staff and development of an emergency continuation
training system. Preparation of all necessary unit documentation
to ensure integrity of operation;

standards and practices. A written consultancy document
would highlight any areas where remedial action was required;
•Introduction of a Safety Management System to ensure
compliance with ICAO legislation;
•Identification and establishment of any training
or refresher courses required by the air traffic control
staff. Any training courses required could be scheduled
at convenient locations for the customer. |

" Provision of the airport Aeronautical Information
Services;
" WGS 84 obstacle surveys at all airports. To ensure
the basis of an internationally acceptable database, Survey's
data handling routines follow the guidelines detailed in
EUROCONTROL ES1007 (Surveying of Navigational Facilities),
ICAO WGS 84 and UK CAP 232;
" Review and production of ATC procedures, including
establishment of SIDS and STARS together with realignment
of controlled airspace to ensure optimum usage;
" Theoretical and practical training of the customer's
staff, in the aforementioned disciplines, to ensure local
long-term system sustainability. |
